Combined Meeting of The British & Swedish Paediatric Orthopaedic Societies

The first combined meeting of the British and Swedish Paediatric Orthopaedic Societies will take place at The Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow.

The focus of the meeting is the adolescent hip. Didactic lectures, case discussions and debates will focus on those conditions which might affect the hip joint in this age group. In particular, there will be sessions on the slipped capital femoral epiphysis and the late consequences of Perthes disease and developmental dysplasia of the hip.

A further session will look at the results from the Swedish registries and the British Orthopaedic Surgery Surveillance Study.
